The Emec Prisma is made to make dosing as easy as possible. This all-rounder is known as the most innovative Emec dosing pump to date! One of the reasons for this is the large number of 'working modes'. In this article (and video), we would like to explain to you how to set the batch dosing mode on the Emec Prisma.
Batch dosing mode can be started externally and manually.
How to set batch mode on Emec Prism?
The Batch mode of the Emec Prisma ensures that a set quantity of product is dosed. When this quantity is reached then the pump stops automatically. This is perfect for e.g. filling or following a recipe.
To activate Batch Mode, do the following:
- Turn on the pump and open the menu.
- Select the following:
- Settings.
- Advanced.
- Working mode.
- Batch.
- In Batch, you can choose between two Batch mode settings, namely with an external signal or with a manual start.
- The external signal can come from a PLC, for example, but a push button is also possible.
- Here you can set quantity of desired product.
- In addition, you can also choose the following, if you have selected the external contact:
- N.O. (Normal Open).
- N.C. (Normally Closed).
- Once programming is complete, select save and press encoder
To activate working mode, return to the main screen.
