Emec Prism Pulse Mode

The Emec Prisma is made to make it as easy as possible! This all-rounder is known as the most innovative Emec dosing pump to date! One of the reasons for this is the large number of 'modes'. We take a closer look at the pulse mode below.

How does the Emec Prisma Pulse Dosing Mode work?

The pump dosage is proportional between two p/m values, namely low and high. In this operating mode, you need to connect a pulse generator. This can be a PLC or process computer, for example.

Press the encoder to turn on the pump. First select the Settings icon, then Advanced, then go to work mode. Select 'Pulse'.

To use this working mode, you need to set four values:

  • Max pulse/minute value.
  • Max flow rate (l/h or ml/h).
  • Minimum pulse/minute value.
  • Minimum flow values (the last two are usually set to 0).

Within this range of value, the dosing will be proportional according to the set programming. This operating mode is mainly used for controllers with a pulse output.

Once programming is complete, select the Save icon and press the encoder.

Return to the main screen to activate the saved working mode.
