Emec Prisma PPM Mode

The Emec Prisma is made to make dosing as easy as possible! This all-rounder is known as the most innovative Emec dosing pump to date! One of the reasons for this is the large number of 'modes'. We take a closer look at the PPM mode below.

How does the Emec Prisma PPM Mode work?

In PPM (parts-per-million mode), dosing is determined by pulsing a water meter according to the set PPM value. The concentration of the chemical and the quantity for each individual stroke must be set during programming. Parts per million is equivalent to ml/m3, which can be useful when dosing.

For this mode of operation, you need to connect a pulsating water meter to an input. This controls the pump.

To start PPM mode, do the following:

  • Press the encoder to turn on the pump.
  • Select the following:
    • Settings.
    • Advanced.
    • Working mode.
  • Under working mode, select 'ppm'.
  • Press the encoder again and set the ppm value. Then press the encoder to confirm the information.
  • Select 'Concentration' and press the encoder to set the desired concentration value.
  • Press the encoder again to confirm the value.
  • Select the save icon.

Then return to the main screen to activate the saved working mode.
